Zeroing In and Loosening Up

Thirty minute free hand sketch of purse buckles,straps and rings. I do like line and diagonal composition, the hardest compositional layout. Some element always has to be used to stop the eye from going off the plane and lead it back. While I'm not happy with the sketch, I like that I'm loosening up--or my impatience is showing? Soon I'll be reaching for a broad edge Conte crayon.I feel it coming.
