Playing In The Water Plein Air, Day Two

Far Side Of The Pool.  It seems like I've lightened up on holiday, day two, and made a move towards painting in puddles.  I like it and will think along those lines--or should I say spots--tomorrow.  I can only do one painting a day during our week-long holiday. There were only seven sheets left on the WC block.   Two down, five to go.  Not a lot of chances for a masterpiece, but you never know.

    1. Thanks Judy. It is just the break I needed. I was getting bogged down --maybe the incessant cold weather? Maybe the difficulties of details in my current Portrait? Maybe a bum knee that is no longer quieted with cortisone? Doesn't matter, WC play, sun, warm temps, beach and family have lifted me back up. I know Spring will have finally arrived when we come home.

    1. Surprisingly not to bad. It has suggested a way to control the paint: layers of spots, or puddles? The block is minus it's cover and it's back. There is no size notation. Guessing it's about 12 by 15 inches. I am minus a ruler so that guess is based on a loose sizing using one phalange of my index finger. Sizing means nothing to me with these quickies. For later I may be possessed to crop to where I think the painting is best.

    1. How have you been Michael? I have been blogger negligent as I became FB addicted during my recovery from My lung lobe ectothermic, I guess they might call it? I have been trying to break the habit. WC Plein air and family time are helping. I intend to carry on as the warm comes to Michigan. Thanks for your comment. I appreciate you stopping by.
