Museums Give Me An Itch

......to DRAW. Seeing  Miro, Chihuly makes me reach for a pencil. I didn't pack enough sharpened Red 314s. This is Ruby Louise a few years back. I'll meet my great niece  in person for the first time Saturday. She's eight now I think?

  1. What a fabulous drawing - full of light and movement.
Enjoyed following your trip. Great to know you are up to all that and must be fully healed.

    1. Are you kidding? I am so out of shape, I can't stand it. This sight seeing is very strenuous business. I finally declared a time out and spent the morning sketching then went shopping--only to discover that shopping is strenuous too! My legs and feet are killing me! Ellis has declared that this is our last time going on a city trip; we're going to be beach bums from now on.

    1. Thanks Roger. After Miro, I had to get my hands on some drawing materials. I would have loved to have been able to paint, but didn't bring them along--just pencils. Have gotten some good photographs though.

    1. Thanks Danielle. I was surprisingly pleased by this drawing considering I was doing it in sitting in an awkward position--squeezed in by family members.
