RAIN, RAIN, RAIN

RAIN POWER WASHES SIDEWALKS

RAIN SWAMPS THE GRASS

RAIN RUSHES TO THE LAKE, ALREADY SPILLING ITS BANKS AND HEADED THIS WAY.

What was two lakes is nearly one. We don't have it anywhere near as bad as others in the country. We're still on high ground, but what comes here goes there, worries still to come.

  2. We've been rained on everyday and night for the last two weeks at least. I've never worn my raincoat so much. Meanwhile the flora is a luscious green--reminds me of Seattle. I keep seeing a green and gray painting that's needs doing.

  3. Hi Linda--What a mess. But look at these wonderful compositions. The grass piece actually resembles your paintings. It even has some of your iridescence too. Take heart--at least you've got a couple cool painting ideas!

  4. That's true Bill, the clouds have a silver lining--if I could get back to the studio. I seem to have lost my way.Sidetracked by my "real job" these last couple of weeks, the only art I've had time for is photography--and these are a bit blurry being taken on the run with a camera that needed charging. Just keeping in touch.
