Am I running in circles here or what? Sure I am--and with my tail cut off. I'll never feel good about this painting. No matter what I do, it looks no better now than in December. So, after one more session this afternoon with a tiny brush, I'm moving on. I swear I am. I think I said all this before, but this time I really mean it. The painting is not me. It's not gestural. It's exacting and I'm really not good at that with paint, only a pencil. A hard lesson to learn what you are good at and what you are not.
I think I passed this way before--obviously too many times.
