Watercolour Challenge

I bought the supplies. Now I have to pay my dues. Watercolour isn't really me; I like strong contrast and texture--real texture. It was appropriate for yesterday's daisies, but not for Hook Purses, (the picture shown is the very best part of a very bad painting). Maybe my failure was my composition? Maybe it was the support? Maybe my impatience? I have no idea why I felt like adding the medium to my studio supplies? I think I think, it might work well with markers and colored pencil--mixed medium, as it's known. Anyway, I'm glad I didn't purchase the very expensive papers and paints; my trash basket is going to spill over.
