But no cigar. My lights aren't light enough. I need more white areas. I went too dark too soon.

It's a get acquainted drawing. I like the subject matter, and now that I know it better, I'll have to wear those shoes today, kick 'em off tonight and give it another try. Sport shoes are an interesting subject for a series. I like their clunkiness and most of them have playful soles.
