A Painting in the Snow

Five inches of snow overnight brought with it inspiration for a painting. I loved waking up to find the interplay of positive and negative space in the woods behind our house. I loved the lack of color. Intertwining lines are fascinating. This scene is for painting, not for drawing. It's a one color painting with many variations. Blues.
