The reason we came to Las Vegas: to talk to our youngest as we always do on Sundays, but this time, live and in person. Painting and drawing is farthest from my mind. Hugs are what I'm after.
Another corner of the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort and Spa. With my kids here, all is well in the world.
Enjoy your family time!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Judy. It's the best.
DeleteA wonderful reason...enjoy of these happy days with your loved, dear Linda!
ReplyDeleteIt's only for a few hours, but still it's wonderful to touch and converse eye to eye. We don't get enough of this.
DeleteGreat idea to have Sunday talk time in person! You are doing it in style too, I see. Nice for them and nice for you.
ReplyDeleteGood parents!
The Marriott card is great! The corporation knows how to reward--and bring families together.
DeleteMy husband travels a fair amount for work and sometimes I go along, but most of our optional trips are trips to family. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteSame here. Last year Seattle. This year Vegas. Next month thankfully Lansing, Michigan. Time changes kill me.
DeleteEnjoy your time with the family!!! There's nothing more important!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are right! They are my primary subjects.
DeleteHow wonderful is that! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteRight up till they leave us in about an hour. Our time together was too short. Luckily they are bringing the grandkids to visit in June.
DeleteThis is looking sooo good Linda, and I love your last phrase , I so agree ! Enjoy yourself !
ReplyDeleteThanks Jane. Well, not all is well, only one third. Two of my sons were missing. But getting all of them together is impossible. So we go around the US and collect our hugs one by one. You know, making art is a passion, but raising the next generation to be responsible, caring and independent adults was a greater passion that you could never afford to have any blocks on performance. My children, now grown men, are my best sculptures and greatest achievement. Sounds hokey I know, but the truth nonetheless.
