What better way to slough off the seriousness of graphite and get through jet lag than to play with color and mark-making on your iPad? Then to fool around with the scribbles in photos? None.
The hotel interior is lovely, but the landscaping is top notch landscape architecture. Hats off to the designers!
Thanks Danielle. It is fun layering color upon color then using the eraser tool to work in highlights. You just keep drawing with color till the feeling of the image is there. Blowing it up and zeroing in on interesting abstractions was also fun. Like I said, it releases the inner child with no restrictions.
The landscaping is really outstanding. ArtRage is my favorite sketching app. I have no desire to refine my digital sketching skills; I do like just diddling around, no pressure.
I see COLOR...wonderful, glorious color! I will take it anyway it comes and if it happens to be via ArtRage - that is the next best thing to seeing some of your signature work.
Zeer heftig schilderij en een prachtige foto lieve groetjes Danielle

ReplyDeleteSignature work is on holiday. And while I have markers and watercolor in my possession, play seems to be the order of the day in this town.
