Which Chips?

Which Chips?  Thirty Minute Daily Drawing Series # 34, Graphite, 6" x 8"
These two youngsters were standing at the buffet table deciding which chips to pile on their plate--the homemade taco chips or the homemade potato chips?  I thoroughly sympathized with their dilemma.  I solved my own indecision by taking both--plus the guacamole--plus the salsa!  My scale said I should have been more adult--but what's the fun in that?

    1. Thanks Rita! Why aren't you lifting a cup of eggnog with your beloved on this Christmas morn?

  2. You captured the moment, Linda. I got my black sable brushes by the way... good old Father Christmas. Also got 3 aprons to keep the paint off my clothes :0)) ...little hope of that happening.

Best Wishes to you and Ellis for the New Year just in case we don't speak before then. Keep warm, fit and happy!

    1. Those boys stood there deliberating for more than a moment. Not me. I took both. I'm a chip addict--but of course I shared with Ellis--who became a chip addict too! Congratulations on those brushes; they're in competent hands.

    2. I always have to do a double take, as we tend to think of French Fries as chips (fish & chips) and we call chips, crisps!

    3. I would think French fries could be classified as chips. Crisps is used sometimes here to describe such foods--like deep fried onion rings-- but the term is unusual. In the Eastern states, a soft drink is called a soda. Here in the Midwest, a soda is a concoction of ice cream and a soft drink--or a cola. In Detroit, we call soft drinks like Pepsi and Coke, pop. All of this can be confusing. I wonder if the Rosetta Stone language programs cover slang?
