Up in the air is the farthest away I could get from color charts and the studio. There wasn't a George Clooney in sight, just skyscapes,  possible abstracts all.

Melatonin 5, 3mg,  got me right into the new time zone. Ellis made fun of the supplement that helps reset your body clock, but was up at four AM and  whacked out by dinner our first day--which was all sunshine and warmth. We strolled, soaked in the sun and photographed Washington University's tranquile Japanese  (Spring) Garden in the Arboretum--but you'll have to wait for those pictures. For land excursions, I'm using my Nikon L120.

    1. I can never resist photographing skyscapes. I can just imagine the marvelous views of our world from outer space. When I was a young girl, I did want to learn to fly, but I was nearsighted, great for making art, unacceptable for pilots.

    1. Thanks Danielle. Wolkenpatronen en oog weergaven van de aarde vogel zijn altijd fascinerend.

Thanks Danielle. Cloud patterns and bird's eye views of the earth have always been fascinating.

  3. Fabulous photos, and they would be a good starting point for painting.

    1. I particularly like the snow covered skyscape, a build up of layers followed by a lot of scraping followed by layers, followed by scraping and so on and so forth.

    1. I think you're right! Especially after visiting the Seattle Art Museum (SAM). Joan Miro was very inspiring. I never really cared for his work, but after watching a video of how he worked, I wondered why I have been so inhibited these last years. I can't wait to show you all my photos.

    1. Thanks Rick. I'll reciprocate when I land. I love it when my circle of blog friends widens. Meeting folks around the world over a shared passion has been very satisfying.
