Water. Lots of water. Thirst is a constant to be satisfied with as many little bottles of water you can get your hands on. It must have something to do with being surrounded by water. It couldn't possibly be due to the fact our daily alcohol intake has more than doubled. Do ya think?
I should never have picked up the drawing pen with this one, but I did. Big mistake. I went back in, softened the harsh lines and went for a swim. Weather was rolling in.
There is water, and there is water. I hope you didn't go swimming in picture #2.
ReplyDeleteNo, by the time that weather came on, we were sky watching from our balcony.
DeleteWow!! that's a powerful sky!..pretty scary...and love the colors and reflections in your painting..well done, Linda.
ReplyDeleteNot scary, the wind whisked it by. Thanks Hilda. That was the second painting of the day. The first was a bust; Ellis was using my iPad and kept interrupting with all sorts of questions. He was most annoying. Thanks. --I think I may have a pair of these; I did a similar one last year.
DeleteWow! Your rendering of those clouds is amazing! Great sketch too! This alcohol-water combo is working well for you!
ReplyDeleteYou are a funny guy. Drinking is required at all warm weather, seaside resorts on holiday. Even people who don't, usually do. And when they aren't drinking wine or beer or ABCs, they are drinking water, tons of water.
DeleteCrikey! That is some serious weather coming your way!!!
ReplyDeleteIt came in late afternoon and was gone by dawn the next day. It brought not one drop of rain with it. I thought it was beautiful.
DeleteI love your sketch of the bottles and sunglasses! I can see you sitting by the pool!
ReplyDeleteThanks Judy. I do love painting the things one must have at the beach.
