Miss Erin Smiling, but not. There's a whole post
that goes with this drawing, but Blogger is not working properly.
I'm getting no copy. Just white lines and this caption. So test
your eyes. Can you really read as small as 18K gold? --Didn't work.
I'd have to retype this whole thing in this tiny caption point. I 'm going for
breakfast. I'll try again tomorrow with more of the drawing done.
Had another idea: photographs and captions only. Didn't work.
My Blogger is jumping around like crazy. I just hate that I spent an hour
composing the greatest post ever written and you will never get to read it.
That's right Erin, smirk.

Dang, that is some kind of glitch!. Now that's a first...Guess Blogger liked your sketch but not your words? (jk)....
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if comments would come through. I just added another caption and that published. I tried to add the other photos I had selected, but I couldn't position them in a logical order. I scratched them. What a waste of time! Now I'm going for a haircut. I'm tripping myself up on my flowing tresses:-)
Deleteok, all those lines are gone except for 2... u definitely have a glitch....
ReplyDeleteSo you did see my first publishing. The followers aren't on this page either. Julie Ford Oliver of Art Talk was having a problem. She wasn't getting pictures. That's the worst for an art blog. I guess I should be grateful OR forget about it. Life's too short and full of stuff to try our patience.
DeleteI see the 'followers'.... I think Blogger is having issues.. Like when two of the folks I follow weren't showing up on the dashboard!. yep life is too short to worry about menial stuff.the important thing is the sketch u posted.
DeleteLinda, you do have a lot of problems with blogger! I saw both posts listed, but could only reach this one. I'm glad my close-up vision is very good. :)
ReplyDeleteAll the listings are this one. I kept taking it back and trying different things then republishing. I guess you could say I'm having technical difficulties. I put in my feed back twice, so time will tell. This same thing happened last week. But there was an added option I clicked on which corrected it. I couldn't find it today.
DeleteI thought you had become a woman of few words (why is Ellis shaking his head? ;o) )
ReplyDeleteYou've been churning out some fantastic work, Linda - I've had time to look but not to comment. Guess I'd be one of the tall silent guys ... if I were tall ... and kept my mouth shut.
Erin looks a lot like you (comparing your banner pic with this drawing). A really great drawing.
Best wishes to Ellis.
Cheerio!
I have to come over and read your copy. From what I did read, you are a busy man. I'm glad to hear Pat is doing better. And your granddaughter is a lucky young woman to have such a devoted father. I'll probably write this all again when I visit.
DeleteThank you John for your compliments, but I would prefer to be as focused as you are. That pen and ink of yours looks spectacular.
wanderful
