Winter Lake Gone Wild

After all that tight drawing this past week, I let loose on "Winter Lake." Little brushwork, mostly palette knives, sponges,and lots of finger and palm action. I had a ball painting to the music.

This morning, the canvas is a glaze or two away from being done. A drip of white here, a wipe of pale yellow there--break up the trees on the other side of the lake with a quick scrub of greyed pink and that will be that. Winter will be history--but that damn groundhog...
