The chest X-ray my internist ordered caught the shadow that a couple of other tests determined was cancer. I was blown away. I had no symptoms. The cold had cleared up and I was fine, but not. Luck and God were definitely involved. Recovery takes about four to six weeks. I'll be recovered when I don't think the studio is too far to go. Thankfully, I will need no further treatment.Linda Rothhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02833417183469551153noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2153983949078742556.post-46726663304621390592015-08-18T14:14:25.326-04:002015-08-18T14:14:25.326-04:00L.W! how are you feeling??? I worry about lung cancer for myself. I smoked for many years. I do know that the doctors and hospitals are so wonderful at keeping us afloat!!! Sorry. I ...I didn't mean to erase your comment. Sorry. I hit the wrong spot. Even though looking back on past writings makes them seem trite or immature, they help purge the emotions that made you pick up the pen. Those initial writings help make you feel better; take them to a higher level, the third person, and art can happen. :-)). Given the vagueness of painting elements, I like the first expression. Try to do it again and you can't. You'd have to become a surrealist and spend a lot of time figuring out which symbols from the real world fit your emotional world.Linda Rothhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02833417183469551153noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2153983949078742556.post-71619274995739707762015-08-17T10:37:49.137-04:002015-08-17T10:37:49.137-04:00Compelling image.

I used to write on ...My blog posts are my journal. I used to write on Write. Pages of feelings. Then when I went back and read them, I had a tendency to think hogwash and delete. Time had cured and I had moved on. Painting isn't as explicit as words. The emotions are released in color, form, brush stroke and method of application. The vagueness of the combination of these elements keeps the painting alive as time changes our perspective.Linda Rothhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02833417183469551153noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2153983949078742556.post-58177764347272869422015-08-17T08:16:53.920-04:002015-08-17T08:16:53.920-04:00You did good with the iPad, I feel your anguish ...You did good with the iPad, I feel your anguish , cry your tears, looking at this work.
