Funny thing about tweaking: It can go on forever. But the final drawing, not this post, took about an hour and a half of tweaks--not all at the same time, but as I passed her by from time to time as she sat on the easel. I believe observation time is imperative. No painting is finished upon first walk away. Large eyes, high cheekbones, aquiline nose and if she'd let it be, long, naturally crimped hair. She looks like all the beautiful paintings in the museum's Greek galleries. Unfortunately, I can only work from photos; she lives in California, cross country. I'd love it if I could get her to sit for me. i keep trying nonetheless.Linda Rothhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02833417183469551153noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2153983949078742556.post-5282331383930770282015-08-08T11:01:40.425-04:002015-08-08T11:01:40.425-04:00This looks like a very interesting lady to paint/d...This looks like a very interesting lady to paint/draw. It really took some time and some bad language to get this much. She's the allusive GC.
