He linked programming to poetry: when you start, the concept in your mind is exciting, when you finish you are relieved ... but ... invariably you get stuck in the middle, in the 'Tar Pits.' Many fossils are dug up of animals who got stuck in the 'Tar Pits' trying to reach the bees and honey. I think we can safely extend this concept to painting.

Great drawing and poetic postGatepost productionshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18061920423331681586noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2153983949078742556.post-70839694522073936192016-09-21T20:41:48.242-04:002016-09-21T20:41:48.242-04:00Linda, she is superb!Linda, she is superb!Studio at the Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02900305750995808779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2153983949078742556.post-68172255483019983152016-09-21T12:11:03.704-04:002016-09-21T12:11:03.704-04:00I love the look on that girl's face! Surrealistic, figurative, colorful, might have been what pushed me to push my boys over the top--but not quite enough. I have more to learn about intensity.
